Place was very clean. Staff I encountered in the restaurant were outstanding. Staff checking-in were good, Staff checking-out were non-existent and I and many other guests were confused by how to get out and get to the terminal shuttle (it was 4am in the morning and I was desperate to get to my early departure gate. I understand the staffing cost reasons but not the lack of appropriate signage!!

This hotel is connected to the Detroit airport. Excellent location when your flight gets delayed or cancelled. Plus it is a Marriott property, so you can expect nice accommodations and treatment. We checked in at 2 am and were met with an efficient, pleasant experience. Highly recommend!

Aubitz

Rooms were too small and the restaurant was obnoxiously priced for really terrible food. This entire hotel is over priced and you gouge people that use it for its location. In the end it wasn’t worth it and we won’t stay again.

The principal advantage is the location inside DTW airport, although a bit of a walk from the gates. However, the quality of the rooms and amenities met my expectations. If possible, book early because rooms go fast.

Once braving the traffic challenges to get to Metro, the check in and valet service were a welcome respite. The airport access for passing security was a very nice bonus.
